| FAQ: How to play subtitles |
Guideline
This tutorial only applies to softsubs, meaning the subtitles are external from the actual movie file. Hardsubs refer to subtitles that are added into the movie file.
Keep the .srt or .sub and .idx file together in the same folder as your avi file (make sure they are named the same - ie: movie.avi and movie.srt).
To display the subtitles download VobSub and install, it will automatically load the srt file into you player when you view your movie file.
An alternate way to view subtitles is to use a program that has subtitle support such as VLC player
